Emperor Go-Fukakusa was an emperor of the Kamakura period, reigning from 1246 to 1259.
Go-Fukakusa was the common ancestor of the Jimyôin line of imperial succession, which alternated for a time with the Daikakuji line descended from his younger brother Emperor Kameyama. The division later developed into the Northern and Southern Courts of the Nanbokuchô Period, which competed in claims to the throne.
