Stele in Kagoshima's Central Park, marking the former site of the Enbukan and Zôshikan
  • Established: 1773
  • Japanese: 演武館 (Enbukan)

The Enbukan was a domain school for martial arts in Kagoshima. It was established by Shimazu Shigehide in 1773 as an extension of the grounds of the domain's chief Confucian temple, simultaneously with the construction of a school for literary and scholarly pursuits on the same site, which would later be named the Zôshikan.
