Uho Doji

  • Japanese: 雨宝童子 (Uhou douji)

Uhô dôji is a "rainmaking youth" figure often said to be a manifestation of either the Shinto deity Amaterasu or the Buddha Dainichi. He is typically depicted with a staff and wish-granting jewel in his hands, and a pagoda on his head.
