Hasegawa Heizô was a [[Tokugawa shogunate]] official. In [[1787]]-[[1788]], he served as the ''hitsuke tôzoku aratame kata'' (火付盗賊改方), the chief official overseeing the apprehension of arsonists, thieves, and gamblers.

Heizô is the protagonist of a novel by [[Ikenami Shotaro|Ikenami Shôtarô]].
