Jinen koji
- Writer: Kan'ami
- Japanese: 自然居士 (jinen koji)
Jinen koji is a Noh play of the fourth category, performed in all five major schools of Noh; a genzai Noh, it takes place in the 14th century present, rather than being a historical piece.
In the play, a teacher gives a sermon at Ungo-ji in Kyoto. He learns of a girl who gave away her kimono as alms, and who sold herself to slavers in memory of her late parents. He then stops his sermon and travels to Ôtsu, where he finds the slavers, and rescues the girl. In some versions of the play, the enslaved girl is instead a boy.
