Shônai han was an Edo period domain in Dewa province.

In 1840/11, the Tokugawa shogunate ordered that the lords of Shônai would be moved to Nagaoka domain in Echigo province. However, peasant uprisings in Shônai convinced the shogunate to retract the relocation order.
