- Anna 1/12/18 (Jan 8) Shinano province reports a rebellion by the son of Fujiwara no Hidesato.
- 969/2/7 The retainers (kenin) of Udaijin Fujiwara no Morotada battle those of Chûnagon Fujiwara no Kaneie.
- 969/3/25 Minamoto no Mitsunaka reports a conspiracy against the government by the son of Fujiwara no Hidesato and by the Junior Assistant Minister of the Nakazukasashô (a member of the Tachibana clan).
- 969/3/26 Sadaijin Minamoto no Takaaki is demoted/exiled to Governor-General of the Dazaifu. Fujiwara no Morotada is promoted to replace him, and Fujiwara no Arihira is promoted to Udaijin.
- 969/4/1 The Junior Assistant Minister of the Nakazukasashô is exiled to Tosa province.
