Is "Iwakuni in Oshu" correct? Ôshû usually means Mutsu province, which is the NE region.
That was a mistake on my part.
It should have read Suo. I went back and checked and it was Iwakuni-han in suo, modern day Iwakuni city in Yamaguchi Prefecture. Thank you for the heads up on that. Much appreciated.
