- 1607/1 Korean envoys leave Seoul, bound for Edo.
- 1607/2/17 The great repair of Sunpu castle begins.
- 1607/2/20 Izumo no Okuni performs Kabuki at Edo castle.
- 1607/4/26 Ieyasu's 9th son Tokugawa Yoshinao moves to Kiyosu han, (later Owari han). He was founder of the Tokugawa Owari branch, one of the "Three Tokugawa Houses" (三家).
- 1607/5/6 Korean envoys representing the Joseon Dynasty visit Edo castle for restoration of diplomatic relations with Japan, which had been broken since Hideyoshi's 1592 invasion of Korea. The Wakan (倭館or 和館) reopens in Busan.
- 1607/7/3 Repairs of Sunpu castle completed.
- 1607/12 Construction of Kumamoto castle in Higo province by Kato Kiyomasa is completed.
