The Nakatsukasa-shô, sometimes translated as Ministry of Central Affairs, was an office under the ritsuryô system which oversaw the keeping of records, the drafting of ordinances, distribution of edicts, and the like.

Secretaries in the Nakatsukasa-shô were known as naiki.
