Nobukore was a son of Takeda Nobutora and half-brother of Takeda Shingen. His mother was Nobutora's cousin, a daughter of Matsuo Nobutaka, Nobutora's uncle. Nobukore was adopted into the Matsuo house and afterwards held Matsuo in Kai Province.
He died without an heir in the 4th month of 1571 and was succeeded by his nephew Nobutoshi, son of Takeda (Kawakubo) Nobuzane.
