Nishiyama Suishô was a Nihonga painter of the early 20th century. A student of Takeuchi Seihô, he trained a number of students, including Nakamura Daizaburô, in turn. A number of Nishiyama's paintings were shown in the official national-level Ministry of Education Exhibitions (Bunten), and Japan Art Academy Exhibitions (Inten).
His student Nakamura Daizaburô married Nishiyama's eldest daughter, Tsuyuko.
