Ôbaki (lit. "large leaf tree") are trees in the Euphorbiaceae family, sometimes known as splurges in English. They grow naturally in the limestone environment of Okinawa.

The trees often grow to be three to five meters tall, with branches that extend out horizontally, providing considerable shade. The large leaves were traditionally sometimes used to wrap food.
