Shinpuku-ji is a Buddhist temple in the Shiba neighborhood of Tokyo, near Atago Shrine. It notably provided lodgings in the 1850s for a number of foreign dignitaries, including Dutch commissioner Jan Hendrik Donker Curtius, Russian envoy Yevfimy Vasilyevich Putyatin, and French envoy Jean Baptiste Louis Baron Gros.
