Miyazaki Inpo was a [[Neo-Confucianism|Confucian]] scholar and painter originally from [[Owari province]], who spent much of his later life in [[Kyoto]], moving there at some point with his parents.

Miyazaki contributed a Postscript to the [[1768]] ''[[Gishi gakufu]]'', a significant compilation of music in the style of the [[Ming Dynasty]].
