- 1560/5 Satake Yoshiaki urges Uesugi Kenshin to attack the Hôjô family.
- 1560/5/19 Oda Nobunaga defeats Imagawa Yoshimoto at the Battle of Okehazama. Ieyasu returns to Okazaki castle.
