Wakasaya Yoichi was an Edo-based publisher, also known by his shop name, Jakurindô.
Wakasaya held the printing & distribution rights to Morishima Chûryô's Ryûkyû-banashi for a time, as well as publishing the 1850 Ryûkyû kaigo, the Chûzan-koku shiryaku, the Ryûkyû onsha shiryaku, and an 1850 edition of the Ryûkyûjin gyôretsu tsuki, along with numerous works unrelated to Ryûkyû.
