The Nisshinkan was a han school established in Tsushima han in 1864. Headed by Ôura Norinosuke, the school quickly became a stronghold of sonnô jôi ideologues in the domain.
Ôura boasted around 200 students, who were educated or trained in Confucian teachings, history, calligraphy, and martial arts, among other subjects.
