A Bujutsu dojo which was established by the Tokugawa Bakufu to train the Tokugawa Bakufu retainers and their sons in 1856. The Kobusho taught not only Kenjutsu but also Sojutsu, Hojutsu, Kyujutsu, Jujutsu.
1866, the Kobusho was closed and the place became Hojutsu training school.
