  • Japanese: 血盟団 (ketsumeidan)

Ketsumeidan ("Blood Pledge Corps") was a right-wing terrorist organization which was responsible for a number of political assassinations in the 1930s.

The "Corps" was founded by a group including Inoue Nisshô (1886-1967).

Ketsumeidan is generally held to have been responsible for the assassinations of former finance minister Inoue Junnosuke, Director-General of Mitsui Baron Dan Takuma, and Prime Minister Inukai Tsuyoshi, all in 1932.
