  • Japanese: 与人 (yohito)

Yohito were magiri (district) administrators in the Amami Islands, under both the Ryûkyû Kingdom (prior to 1609), and under Satsuma han rule (after 1609).

Though initially operating under ôoya (village headmen), the yohito themselves became the top-level officials in each magiri after the position of ôoya was eliminated in 1623.
