:Use the name that is at the top of the article in the dictionary, in this case Mori Ranmaru, since that is the only commonly used name for him, and as far as I know, that is what he was mainly known as. I'll move the article now. "...add the kanji to the fujiwara kanji page rather than (or before) creating a bunch of kanji pages without the kanji." I'm trying to understand what you mean. Do you mean create a page (e.g. 藤原 (Fujiwara) ), then add the various names--or are you talking about finding the kanji for the people who are listed on that page and making sure we have that kanji before we put their name on the kanji page?
