Tsuchiya Toshinao was a ''fudai [[daimyo|daimyô]]'', lord of [[Kururi han]] in [[Kazusa province]].
He became lord of Kururi, a 20,000 ''[[koku]]'' domain, in [[1612]]. Three years later, at the age of 8, he served in the [[Osaka Summer Campaign]]. He was also named Minbu-no-shô in [[1621]], but suffered from many illnesses and lived a relatively retired life.
