Sadakiyo served three generations of the Oda of Owari - [[Oda Nobuhide|Nobuhide]], [[Oda Nobunaga|Nobunaga]], and [[Oda Nobuo|Nobuo]]. He gained fame as one of the '[[Seven Spears]]' of the [[Battle of Azukizaka]] ([[1542]]). Known for his skill with the spear, he went on to distinguish himself at the Battles of [[Battle of Kayatsu|Kayatsu]] ([[1553]]) and [[Battle of Okehazama|Okehazama]] ([[1560]]) under Nobunaga. After Nobunaga's death in [[1582]], Sadakiyo went to serve Oda Nobuo and died at [[Kiyosu castle]] over twenty years later.
