He attended [[Gakushuin|Gakushûin]] Middle School. In [[1911]], he married Isoko, a daughter of [[Tokudaiji Sanetsune]]<!--徳大寺実則, can also be read Sanenori-->. By 1935, Tadashige was a rear admiral in the [[Imperial Japanese Navy]].
