  • Chinese: 沙船 (shāchuán)

Shāchuán were a type of shipping barge and warship used in Ming Dynasty China, especially in coastal areas near the mouth of the Yangtze River.

Fitted with multiple masts and squared-off bow and stern, they were known for their sudden bursts of speed.
