Kina Moriaki is an Okinawan scholar of the music of the [[Ryukyu Kingdom]]. He is particularly known as the leading expert on ''[[rujigaku]]'', the formal processional music of the Ryukyuan royal court.

Born in the village of [[Tamagusuku]] on [[Okinawa Island]] in 1944, Kina attended and graduated from the [[University of the Ryukyus]]. He later became a high school teacher at Okinawa Prefectural Hokuzan High School in [[Nakijin]].

A member of the Tôyô Ongaku Gakkai (Society of Oriental Music), he has published numerous works on the music of the Ryukyuan royal court, and the influence of Chinese music and dance upon Okinawan arts.
