Now, to better understand the man he is going to kill, he looks into Hachiro’s past life. Kiyokawa, an odd man who lived among upheavals of the last days of Shogunate, hated power but had the ambition and passion of having power and lived briefly in a chaotic bloody time. Based on Shiba Ryotaro’s story, director Shinoda Masahiro portrays a true to life man and created his first traditional drama.
