Tsuwano han was a domain based in Iwami province (today, Shimane prefecture). Ruled by the Sakazaki clan in the early Edo period, and by the Kamei clan from 1617 onwards, it was rated as having a kokudaka of 43,000 koku.

The Kamei of Tsuwano were perhaps the only clan outside of the Gosanke and the Shimazu clan to be gifted (or otherwise obtain) a full set of musical instruments for Ryukyuan court music. Their set is now in the collection of the Okinawa Prefectural Museum.
