Talk:Okami (folklore)

I submitted this article in response to a request I received through Private Messenging for more articles on Japanese folklore. I wasn't sure on the proper naming on this article, so feel free to change the title to "Ōkami" or "Wolf (folklore)" or whatever seems most appropriate. Azuki Arai 20:44, 27 January 2007 (PST)
- Great article! I removed the macron from the article title, since for some reason this wiki won't let you search that way, so the macronless titles is what we use, and I changed the macrons to the triangular ones, which is also what we use. An easy fix. Thanks for the article! There are a few stylistic things that I'll probably change over - it would be better to have in text footnotes rather than in text citations, so I'll see if I can change that over, since that is pretty much how we've been doing it. --Kitsuno 20:56, 27 January 2007 (PST)
- Thanks! Yes, please feel free to change over whatever needs to be changed in terms of format. That way I'll know how to do it next time! Just out of curiosity, is there a particular reason the triangular macrons are favored, or is it just an aesthetic preference? Also, why use the double o in the first line of the article but then the macron everywhere else? Azuki Arai 18:52, 29 January 2007 (PST)
