*Japanese: 養源院 (Yougen-in)

Yôgen-in is a small Buddhist temple near Sanjûsangendô in Kyoto. The interior features paintings of lions, elephants, and kirin by Tawaraya Sôtatsu.

The fusuma sliding door paintings by Sôtatsu, commissioned in 1621, were his first commissions from the imperial court.

A portion of the ceiling at the temple is a reused section of the floor from Fushimi-Momoyama castle. Blood stains are still plainly evident on it from the 1600 siege of Fushimi castle.
