Ôyama Seimi was an older brother of [[Oyama Iwao|Ôyama Iwao]]; he married [[Saigo Takamori|Saigô Takamori's]] sister [[Oyama Yasu|Yasu]].
Seimi was buried next to Yasu and other members of their family at [[Daien-ji (Setagaya-ku)|Daien-ji]] in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo.
