Asahi-no-kata was one of the chief wives (''midaidokoro'') of [[Tokugawa Ieyasu]], marrying him in [[1586]].

Her father was named Chikuami. She was a half-sister of [[Toyotomi Hideyoshi]]; the two had the same mother.
