Nashomi was, according to the ''History of [[Cao Wei|Wei]]'' (C: ''Wei-zhi''), an official steward in the service of Queen [[Himiko]] of [[Wa]]. He led an embassy to Wei in [[239]], and continued to serve as an official representative and intermediary, on behalf of Himiko, into the 240s.
