Siege of Iwamura
- Oda Nobutada (under the command of Oda Nobunaga) (30,000) vs. Akiyama Nobutomo (under the command of Takeda Katsuyori) (3,000)
- Date: 1575
- Location: Mino province
- Castle Siege
- KIA: Akiyama Nobutomo
Following Takeda Katsuyori's crushing defeat at Nagashino, an army under Oda Nobutada (Nobunaga's eldest son) laid siege to Iwamura, which Akiyama Nobutomo had captured for the Takeda in February 1572. The much-weakened Takeda clan could not come to the aid of Iwamura, which fell in December. Akiyama was captured and executed and by this siege Nobunaga reclaimed all of Mino province.
