Ichiki Magobei was a Shimazu clan retainer who fought in the Shimazu's 1609 invasion of Ryûkyû. He was originally from Takayama in the southern portion of Ôsumi province. His diary of the invasion, Ryûkyû tokai nichinichi ki, is one of the chief surviving firsthand accounts of those events.
