  • Japanese: 一寸法師 (issun boushi)

Issun Bôshi ("One Inch Man") is a traditional Japanese folk tale about the adventures of a young man only about an inch (one sun) tall. These included traveling across Osaka Bay in a rice bowl.

Like Momotarô and Kintarô, Issun Bôshi was not a widespread story until the early Edo period.
