A copy of the Morokoshi meisho zue on display at the British Museum

The Morokoshi meisho zue, or "Illustrated Famous Places of China," is a set of six volumes, out of an unfinished total of 36, created by Okada Gyokuzan, Kimura Kenkadô, and others, depicting China as they understood it at the time. The volume was based on extensive consideration of imported Chinese books.
