  • Japanese: 徳潤 (Tei Tokujun)

Tei Tokujun was a Ryukyuan scholar-official who served as vice envoy (fukushi) on a Ryukyuan tribute mission to China in 1860. He became castaway in Satsuma province on the return voyage, and instead of returning directly to Ryûkyû from there, instead traveled to Edo to report on conditions in China.
