  • Chinese: 毛國科 or 茅國科 Mao Guoke

Mao Guoke was a warrior in the army of the Ming Dynasty, captured by the Shimazu clan during Toyotomi Hideyoshi's Korean Invasions. He was sent back to China in 1600, alongside Torihara Sôan, as part of an effort to establish normalized relations between Japan (now under the Tokugawa clan) and the Ming Court.
