Kunitomo was a Kamakura period swordsmith.

He was the eldest son of Kuniie, founder of the Kyoto-based Awata-guchi school of swordsmithing. He is said to have served as an official Imperial court swordsmith for Emperor Go-Toba, around 1207-1211.
