  • Japanese: 北陸道 (Hokuriku-dô; also Kuniga-no-michi, Kunuga-no-michi, Kuru-ga-no-michi, Hokuroku-dô), lit. "[Road of the] Northern Land.")

The Hokuriku is the middle section of Japan's Japan Sea coast. It consisted of the seven provinces of Wakasa, Echizen, Kaga, Noto, Etchû, Echigo, and Sado Island.

The modern Hokuriku region (Hokuriku Chihô) covers the same area and consists of the four prefectures of Fukui, Ishikawa, Toyama, and Niigata.
