Tasato Chochoku

Tasato Chôchoku was a Ryukyuan playwright, responsible for expanding the repertoire of the traditional Ryukyuan theatre form kumi udui in the 18th century, adding to the plays written by Tamagusuku Chôkun and others in earlier generations.

His plays include Manzai tekiuchi, a revenge play.
