Title, etc

I know that we tend to lean towards using the Japanese name for things moreso than Wikipedia, but I figured since this is a descriptive title and not a direct, precise name, it'd be better to use the English translation. Whatever you think best, Kitsuno.

As for the linked-to place names and other such things, I figure we're going to eventually have to start disambiguating for place names, and/or including the prefecture or province (e.g. Soja, Okayama) for organizational purposes. Again, if you think otherwise, that's cool too, for places like Edo, Osaka, Nagasaki, Tsushima, which are prominent and have relatively unique names, but when it comes time to create articles for

  1. Ono, Hyogo, Japan
  2. Ono, Fukushima, Japan
  3. Ōno, Fukui, Japan
  4. Ōno District, Fukui, Japan
  5. Ōno, Gifu, Japan
  6. Ōno District, Fukui, Japan
  7. Ōno, Hiroshima, Japan
  8. Ōno, Hokkaidō, Japan
  9. Ōno, Iwate, Japan
  10. Ōno, Ōita, Japan
  11. Ōno District, Ōita, Japan,

don't say I didn't tell you so. LordAmeth 05:59, 14 February 2008 (PST)
