Okatsu was a consort of Tokugawa Ieyasu. After their daughter Ichihimegimi died at the age of two, Ieyasu comforted the grieving Okatsu by naming her adoptive mother of Ieyasu's 11th son Tokugawa Yorifusa, and granddaughter Furihime.
