Following the Sekigahara Campaign (1600) Tadanari was made a daimyô in Musashi province. His son Tadayoshi was to fall out of favor with shôgun Tokugawa Iemitsu, though the family's name would be restored during the time of Tadanari's grandson, Munetoshi.
