Okitsura was a son of [[Sugi Okifusa]]. He served the Ôuchi and acted as the ''[[shugodai]]'' of [[Chikuzen province]]. In [[1530]] he was tasked with leading an army against [[Shoni Sukemoto|Shôni Sukemoto]] but was defeated by [[Ryuzoji Iekane|Ryûzôji Iekane]]. Okitsura was a son of Sugi Okifusa. He served the Ôuchi and acted as the shugodai of Chikuzen province. In 1530 he was tasked with leading an army against Shôni Sukemoto but was defeated by Ryûzôji Iekane. When Ôuchi Yoshitaka was overthrown and committed suicide, Okitsura followed suit and killed himself.
