Inaba's grave at Yôgen-ji in Bunkyô-ku, Tokyo.

Inaba Masakatsu was a son of Kasuga no Tsubone (wet-nurse to Shogun Tokugawa Iemitsu), and an early Edo period lord of Odawara han.

Born the son of Inaba Sado-no-kami Masanari and Kasuga no Tsubone, he became lord of Odawara han (85,000 koku) in 1632. He died two years later, however, and was buried at Yôgen-ji, a temple he founded in what is today Tokyo's Bunkyô-ku Ward.
