Fukakusa kita no misasagi in Fushimi, the mausoleum of twelve emperors including Emperor Go-Komatsu
Emperor Go-Komatsu was emperor from 1382 until his abdication in 1412.
Go-Komatsu ascended to the throne in 1382, when his father Emperor Go-Enyû abdicated.
In 1412, he abdicated in favor of his son, who took the throne as Emperor Shôkô. After Shôkô died in 1429, Retired Emperor Go-Komatsu took his successor, Emperor Go-Hanazono as his adoptive nephew, and advised him until his own death in 1433.
