The Shô Tai kô jitsuroku, or "True Record of Lord Shô Tai," is a 1924 volume by Higaonna Kanjun detailing the life of Shô Tai, the last king of the Ryûkyû Kingdom.
Higaonna was officially designated as the compiler of this account in 1910, following Shô Tai's death in 1901. At the orders of Shô family house steward Izena Chôboku, two catalogs of books and documents in the family's collection were compiled, and these were sent to Higaonna in Tokyo along with a great many of the catalogued materials.
